How can I tell if my industrial piercing was done with a surgical steel barbell?
I'm allergic to all types of metals. Surgical steel is the only thing I can wear in my ears. I recently got an industrial piercing and I told the guy that did it that I was allergic to everything besides surgical steel. He held up a black barbell and said it was surgical steel. But I'm not so sure now, and want to find out before my ear gets to be the size of an elephant's ear.
If it's black, it could be surgical steel plus some kind of coating to make it black. Most of the black pieces I have seen are either niobium or PVD plated steel. If you got it done at a reputable shop, it should be okay but if you're nervous, go back. If they're any good, they won't judge you for being cautious.

How to decorate a green and black room?
Alrighty! so i just moved my room downstairs and its been painted green and black.
I like industrial and metal music, and i'm really confused on how i should decorate it, theme wise.
I've even gone to a couple raves and things, and a couple metal shows and i like a mix of both, but i'm not sure how to express/decorate my room. any suggestions?
keep you furniture nice and simple you don't want to create to much confusion in the sheme, try using mementos on a painted pin board either in the black or green eg tickets from raves, photos with friends stickers etc, cover some of the walls with posters from you fav bands it will take the edge off the black and green while ejecting some of your personality into the scheme, try using silver in some of you accent pieces eg. a chrome lamp base or light fitting.
