Marshall Guitar Amplifier Head
Using an amp with speaker output as a head for a guitar amp stack?
I want to purchase this Marshall amp cabinet, and I want to know if I can use my current amp as a head, or preamp, because it has a speaker output.

I do no plan on buying BOTH of the cabinets, only one. I found that kind of confusing as well that the guitar center page had a photo of both when the page was for Angled OR Straight.
And the speaker output eliminates the flow to the Crate amp and only projects it out to the cabinet, so I'm not mixing sounds from Marshall and Crate. The point is to get it louder. I intend to buy the Marshall Head as well when I get enough money.
You can do it, but I highly recommend you don't. Your crate doesn't have near enough watts to properly push a full Marshall stack, or even a half-stack. That can be very bad for the speakers. Without an amp that has the proper amount of electricity going to the speakers, you can do great damage to the speakers internally. Trying to push 2 120 watt speakers with a 15 watt head can cause permanent harm to a brand new cab. I don't recommend you do it.
