Brake Soak if you get brake cleaner soaked in your clothes can it give you cancer or somthin else?
it got spilled on my pants and i let it dry when i was wearing them at work i heard it could give you cancer
Hi,
One exposure will not cause cancer right away.
I know people who worked on screw machines that make various parts, and have oil sprayed on all the drill bits and cutters within, and the machine operators constantly had oil on their arms. After 30 years they would tend to get cancer on their arms.
As long as you cleaned it well, you should be fine.
Hi, my truck has some alloy or chrome wheels that are covered with brake dust and grime, I cant get them to shine like they did when I bought my truck back in 2004. When I wash them, I use Armor All wheel cleaner, I follow the instructions, spray on the wheel, let it soak for a minute then hose it off, but still the brake dust remains. How can I get my wheels looking bright and shiny like they used to be? what products or methods can I use to do it?
those spray and rince things never work, get down and dirty and clean the wheels with a scrub brush and soap when you wash it. after its done and dry, use a chrome polish (like mothers). just read the instructions, it will shine like its never shined before oh and after thats done, spray on some tire wet on the tires, the kind that is foam where you just spray and it disolves, works great and easy to use, makes a biig difference.
